Organizational History

Victory Human Services (VHS) is a private non-profit organization headquartered at 1115 West Chestnut Street in Brockton Massachusetts. VHS was founded in 2000 by a group of health care professionals to mend the disadvantages in the human services field in Massachusetts facing minorities and immigrant populations.

VHS has proudly continue served and supported individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illness, medical issues, and in-home settings for over 19 years. From our inception in 2000 as a single service agency helping young adults with developmental disabilities, VHS has evolved to a multi-service agency. We have gained the trust and respect of many communities in Massachusett including Brockton, Boston, Greater Boston, New Bedford, Worcester, and Springfield.

At VHS, we believe that “People are greater than their Disabilities.” Our belief has been our promise and tag line to help us develop our mission to assist individuals and their families in overcoming the challenges of developmental disabilities, mental illness, and medical conditions.

We accomplish this mission through partnership with individuals and families, community organizations, and a highly skilled team of diverse and culturally competent staff. Offering compassionate and effective services has been the hallmark of Victory Human Services.

Our programs are built on a foundation of values that enable us to have a positive impact on the people we serve. Thus, we hire a staff that is highly equipped to meet the level of working knowledge, experience, skillset, and competencies required for each division:
